Which of the Core Values do you focus on and why are you passionate about it?
I get the privilege of overseeing each of our Core Value areas and the incredible staff and teams that work so hard to help our church and the people in our church live those Core Values out in their own lives.
What do you love the most about your job?
I love that I get to work alongside our entire staff as we work together to live out the Vision, Mission, and Core Values God has given us. It is also a privilege to help our staff and church as a whole organize around and resource the visions and ministry strategies cast to us each season by Darren.
Favorite Bible verse?
One of my favorite verses is Psalm 91:15: "When they call of Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them."
Outside of Work...
I've been married to Brittany since July 21, 2007 and we have 3 kids.
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
I love to play golf when I have the opportunity to do so. In my mind, I should be playing on the PGA but in body I’m sure I couldn’t even make the middle school golf team! I also love music and playing instruments. I enjoy having the opportunity to play on Sundays when I get the chance to do so. I also love to travel and take trips with my wife and family.
Tell us something funny or interesting about yourself!
My family moved to El Paso the summer before my freshman year of high school (super fun and not challenging at all!! 😊) to plant a church. We opened the church later that year and did tons of ministry across the border in Mexico in the time I was involved in the church. I also led worship each Sunday. In high school, I played varsity tennis and ended up being the number 1 tennis player in the district my senior year.
