Which of the Core Values do you focus on and why are you passionate about it?
Build Community: I love to be in community! Spending time with family, friends and community brings me such joy. I firmly believe the Lord has given me the gift to connect with people and bring people together. When I see people gathering, in fellowship, enjoying each other’s company my heart is filled with love. Bringing people out of their shell, asking others to join me in an activity and making connection and friendship is an action in which I cannot stop. My soul craves connection and community and I want that for others!
What do you love the most about your job?
I love being a part of a team! My co-workers and the leadership are supportive, uplifting, encouraging and passionate about doing God’s work. I also love that I can use my spiritual gifts of administration, hospitality, wisdom and faith.
Favorite Bible verse?
Romans 13:15 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Outside of Work...
Married to Shane Owen since August 2015. We have 3 kids
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
My happy place is in God’s creation. Specifically, the beach, river, and lake. My hobbies include, making wreaths, reading books, listening to crime podcasts, watching crime shows, and of course enjoying time with friends!
Tell us something funny or interesting about yourself!
I played the violin from 5th grade to 12th grade. I was a military police sergeant in the U.S. Army. My husband and I met while stationed in Hawaii.
