Which of the Core Values do you focus on and why are you passionate about it?
Personally I focus on Putting God first because I want to ensure I’m living my life fully for Him. As the Women’s Event Coordinator my focus is on building community. When I was at my lowest point it was the community of women, at Grace that helped me.
What do you love the most about your job?
I love the group of ladies that I work alongside. They are beautiful inside and out, they encourage me, build me up and challenge me to do my best each day.
Favorite Bible verse?
I have a lot, but right now I’d have to say it’s Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
Outside of Work...
Married to Darnell since 2008. We have 4 kids
What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Free time? What’s that? 🙂 I like to walk/hike in nature. I love all things space related, I like scifi movies and shows. I’m a bit of a nerd. I’m a huge Star Trek fan. I love music, Christian, Gospel, R&B, Neo-Soul, Techno, Dance, Disco, Funk, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Reggaeton, International Music. I also like to make crochet characters/dolls.
Tell us something funny or interesting about yourself!
I have been on Sesame Street when I was younger. I was blowing bubbles with gum while they played a song about the letter B. One day while watching sesame street with my kids the episode I was on came on and my kids got to see young mama on there.
