When we try to push these unpleasant struggles under the surface it’s like trying to hold a beach ball under the water. It will eventually have to come to the surface.

Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

The weekend of September 14-16 the women of Grace will be gathering to learn about the importance of rest, where that rest comes from and how to maintain it.

We will be meeting in homes across the city as well as joining together for corporate worship at the church. Much like a Disciple Now weekend, this will be a weekend of connecting with God, yourself and one another. We hope you will join us as we experience what we all need, Soul Rest!
