Where is Malawi? Why do they need our help?

Malawi is a small landlocked country in Sub-Saharan Africa, bordered by Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Over 85% of Malawi’s 17 million people live in rural villages, and it is one of the poorest countries in the world.

Where will we be staying?

We'll be staying onsite with Child Legacy in comfortable, safe accommodations (yes, including a/c and with great food!). The Child Legacy site in Malawi is located on 200 acres and provides thousands of Malawians with access to high-quality healthcare, agricultural services, education, affordable healthy food, and more.

How much will this trip cost?

The cost is $4250 and includes your airfare, all accommodations, food, etc. We will provide training and guidance in the fundraising process to help you raise the money needed for this trip!

What will our team be doing in Malawi?

The Grace Malawi team will be spending our time on the Child Legacy site in Malawi and participating in a variety of projects ranging from infrastructure and agriculture to health care and education. Whether you have experience in the health care field and can assist in the local hospital or have a heart for loving on the children and sharing the gospel, there is something for everyone to do on this trip!

We will also be ministering to some of the outlying villages located right outside the Child Legacy site...where many of the Malawians live and work.

Do I need a passport? 

YES! You will need a valid passport to travel to Malawi. If you do not already have a passport, apply for one ASAP.

*Expedited passports are an option but cost an additional $60 and still take 5-7 weeks to arrive.
