Hunter and his wife Cricket met at Hardin-Simmons University back in 2006 and have been married for 11 years. They have 3 children; Caden (6), Chloe (6), and Kaylee (3). Cricket is a women's health nurse practitioner, and Hunter has served in various roles of student ministry for the past 11 years. He received his Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry from Howard Payne University, and has been ordained and licensed in the ministry by his previous churches.
While he loved student ministry, Hunter has responded to God's call on his life to transition into a different role in ministry. He is very passionate about discipleship on the local church level, because he has personally seen the impact and benefit of intentional and purposeful discipleship in his own life. As a result, his philosophy of ministry is to help every church attender understand their faith on a deeper level, how to put that faith into action for the overall benefit of the church, and more importantly, for the glory of the Kingdom.
