From the Desk of Darren Stewart
What an amazing year it has been so far here at Grace Community Church. We are so thankful to you for being part of this amazing church and the way that you support the vision, mission, and core values we are all working towards together.
Did you know that more people have attended Grace this year than ever before?! We have seen so many new people, you may even be one of them, that we have given out 173 welcome gift bags since Easter Weekend and that’s not even all of the new people that have come! God has continued to bring growth to Grace: the majority of which has come on Sunday mornings during either the 9:30am or 11:15am services. Our Sunday services, along with the parking lot, continue to fill up on a regular basis.
It is because of this, and our desire to continue to foster the growth that God has brought us, that we have prayerfully made the decision to move our Saturday evening service to Sunday morning.
Yes, this means we will have 3 worship gatherings on Sunday mornings and all service times will change.
Beginning January 6th, worship gatherings will be Sundays only at 9am, 10:30am, and 12pm.
It has been so exciting to have a Saturday service option over the past couple of years and we love that relationships have been formed, and lives have been affected and changed for the better. We believe and pray this continues to happen as we focus on where God is bringing the most folks to this great place of worship and community.
You can continue to enjoy Saturday service until December 15th. The following weekend we will have 2 services on Sunday, December 23rd at the regular times (9:30am and 11:15am), and 3 services on Christmas Eve at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm.
We understand that this really is a change for everyone as we shift our times a bit, so we encourage you to begin planning now for January 6th!!
Excited to be on this journey with you and looking forward to what God wants to continue to do here at Grace.
